Hello, and thanks for stopping by RicoRoq.com. This site is used as a sort of "catch-all" for the various projects I work on, which mostly involve website building and development. But buried within are other things I find interesting too.

Sometime around the mid-1990s a group of my friends and I decided to expand our fantasy baseball league by creating a website to keep track of things. When no one else stepped up I volunteered to build it, though I scarcely knew a thing about html. But I bought some software and soon figured out the basics. By today's standards that first website was atrocious, as evidenced by its gratuitous use of the Comic Sans font... in bold green, no less.

But eventually my skills improved and I began to produce solid, functional websites. Even my graphic skills got better. At one time I went through a phase where it seemed I only developed sites for local rock bands, whose subsequent longevities could be better measured with a stopwatch than a calendar. I would build them a site, and poof! they'd split up. Only one of those bands survived, but for good reason though... they totally rock!

Today, I build websites for small businesses... and rock bands too. If you're looking for something large and all-encompassing, I am not your guy. This is not a full-time gig for me. But if you need something professional, functional, and with all the latest bells and whistles, then I am most definitely your guy. The biggest benefit is the personal, one-on-one attention you'll receive.
